They stopped saying prayers at school yesterday
There’s a boarded up rundown church up on third and main
Missions overflowing and the crime it just keeps growing
And I’m not sure when it’s gonna stop
But man this world is all we got.

What would Jesus do in times like these?
Would He walk among sinners,

Feel the calm at Carmel

Lembah Karmel, di Cikanyere. Selalu ramai oleh umat-umat yang datang dari berbagai kota. Ada yang untuk retret, ada juga yang datang untuk mengikuti misa, dan ada juga yang sekedar menenangkan diri dan jalan-jalan bersama keluarga atau teman. 


Hari minggu, 22 April yang lalu, saya dan teman-teman dari Paguyuban Lektor St. Alfonsus Rodrigues juga mengadakan kebersamaan dan mengikuti misa di sana. Perjalanan dimulai dari jam 5.30 pagi. Tiba di Lembah Karmel jam 09.00. Kami pun bersiap-siap berjalan menuju gereja S. Theresia yang berada di atas. Misa dimulai jam 09.30. Tampak sudah ramai yang mengisi tempat duduk yang di depan, kami pun berjalan dan akhirnya duduk di kursi-kursi atas. 

Misa dimulai. Pujian demi pujian kami nyanyikan. Dan memasuki ekaristi. Saya selalu terpesona dengan keramaian dalam gereja tersebut setiap kali saya berada disana. Dari ujung kiri ke kanan, penuh. Begitu banyak umat yang rindu akan Tuhan Yesus. 


Aku. Aku pun rindu. Sangat rindu akan Yesus. 
Ampuni aku Tuhan jika aku berjalan menjauhi Engkau.
Terima kasih, karena Engkau melayakkan ku untuk memanggil Mu, Bapa.




Disana pula, aku diam-diam melihat dan memperhatikan begitu banyak orang berdoa, dengan cara mereka masing-masing. Tiba-tiba perhatian ku tertuju pada seorang Bapak yang membawa sebuah kertas, ia berjalan dari Goa Maria menuju ke taman, berlutut dan mulai berdoa.

Saat saya berbalik badan setelah mengambil foto Bapak yang berdoa itu, saya melihat seorang sedang berdoa, tidak berlutut, tidak berdiri, tetapi duduk di atas kursi roda. Ia melihat ke atas ( ke arah Patung Bunda Maria ) lalu tertunduk dan berdoa.

Saya tidak tahu apa yang mereka doakan. Tetapi, saya berkata dalam hati, "Semua yang terbaik, Tuhan. Semua yang terbaik, amin".


Dan, satu impian aku setelah aku kembali dari Lembah Karmel.
Aku ingin mengajak keluarga ku ke Lembah Karmel yang sedang di bangun di Pontianak, Shanti Buana. Rumah retret milik keuskupan agung Pontianak yang sedang dibangun dan akan sama seperti Lembah Karmel di Cikanyere ini. 


Dan aku juga ingin mengajak mudika yang ada di stasi Sekura, Gereka Katolik Bunda Maria, untuk retret disana.


Mudah-mudahan, impian aku ini bisa di wujudkan dan sesuai dengan kehendak Dia. Amin :)

I'm on my way to make my dream come true :)


Berawal dari hobby, menumpahkan segala emosi kedalam sebuah tulisan, senang, sedih, marah, kesal, bingung, semuanya akan lebih menyenangkan jika aku goreskan dalam bentuk tulisan. Lalu, tulisan-tulisan itu hanya disimpan sendiri. Tidak cukup percaya diri untuk memperlihatkan tulisan aku. 


Seiring dengan waktu, saya disadarkan, bahwa 'berbagi' itu lebih menyenangkan. Mengenal Bpk Andrie Wongso,Motivator no. 1 di Indonesia, dan dari beliau juga saya mendapat kesempatan untuk berkarya melalui website beliau. Membagikan artikel inspirasi untuk pembaca. Saya pikir, saya ingin berbagi dan semoga bisa menjadi berkat dan inspirasi untuk teman-teman yang membaca. 


Lalu kesempatan berkarya saya semakin dilancarkan saat saya mengenal inspirator muda no. 1 di Indonesia, Rudy Lim. Beliau juga memberikan kesempatan kepada saya untuk menulis di website beliau. 


Kemudian, disaat saya merasa senang bisa berbagi melalui tulisan-tulisan saya yang sederhana, tiba-tiba saya mendapat kejutan dari Tuhan. Ia mengirimkan Leadership Coach no. 1, murid John C Maxwell, Urgyen Rinchen Sim, biasa disapa Mr. Sim. Beliau membaca artikel saya di andriewongso.com dan lalu mengirimkan message kepada saya dan mengajak saya untuk berkolaborasi menulis sebuah buku.
What a surprise !


Saya tidak bisa berkata apapun, selain "Tuhan dahsyat !" 


Pertemuan singkat dengan Mr. Sim, sangat memberikan support dan saya beruntung sekali karena bisa belajar banyak hal dari beliau. Beliau rendah hati dan tidak ragu-ragu membagikan ilmu kepada saya.


Saat ini, kami sedang dalam proses pembuatan buku kolaborasi. Isi buku tersebut adalah cerita/artikel yang menginspirasi. 


Senang sekali mendapat banyak dukungan dan doa dari keluarga, orang-orang terdekat, sahabat, dan teman-teman. "Saya nanti jadi pembeli pertama ya", "Semoga di lancarkan ya", "Sukses ya .. kabar-kabari ya klo sudah launch", "Wah akhirnya bikin buku ya, congratz ya", dan masih banyak lagi, dan saya sangat bersyukur karena Tuhan menghadirkan ini semua dalam hidup saya.


Semoga saya bisa menjadi berkat bagi banyak orang.
